For nearly two decades saxophonist Dan Burke has been integral to both the Chicago and greater Midwest music scene. His distinctive approach to music has awarded him the experience to play with some of the world’s top musicians including Jason Marsalis, Clark Terry, and Charles McPherson. As a leader or sideman, Burke has performed at some of Chicago’s premier venues including The Green Mill, Andy’s Jazz Club, and headlining at the Chicago Blues Fest. Burke holds a B.M. from Northern Illinois University as well as a M.M. from DePaul University.
